A FEW MORE THINGS STUDENTS SHOULD KNOW...
AP Credit:
Did you complete AP exams while in high school? A score of 4 or 5 on selected exams earns you GE credit. Don’t forget to send your results to the Academic Dean on your home campus. Students who took an Advanced Placement Exam may receive college credit based on their exam scores. For more information visit our AP Exams page.
COLLEGE COURSES TAKEN WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL
If you took college courses while you were in high school, you may be able to transfer them to the Mount. There is a specific policy to ensure that the student received credit. For more information visit our College Credits Taken While in High School page.
Still Confused About What Major To Choose?
Don't worry, many high school students come to college as Undeclared because they have multiple interests or are unsure of their educational direction. In fact, studies show that two-thirds of the students who declare their major on their college application change it two or three times before they graduate. College is a place to acquire knowledge; that includes learning something new about yourself and your career interests. For more Major information, visit our What Can I Do With A Major In...? page.
Note: Once admitted, students wishing to change their major to Pre-Nursing must first be reevaluated by the Admissions Office.
As a student of Mount St. Mary's College you will find all necessary forms and resources on the MyMSMC Portal Log in today! (If you experience technical difficulties, please contact the Help Desk at 866.224.6968 [Or extension 2970]).
