What Happens Now?

Business Office- Located on the first floor of the 745 Adams Building, the Business Office is responsible for parking passes, refunds and questions on student fees. More information can be found on their website www.msmc.la.edu/pages/343.asp.

Housing- On campus housing is available for Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students. Pick up an application at the Residence Life Office (Hannon Hall 1st floor), the Graduate Admission Office (Bldg. 10), or the Nursing Department (Bldg. 5).

Register for Classes- Web Advisor is The Mount's online tool that you will be using during your time here. You will use it to confirm enrollment, check financial aid, search/register for classes and more. If you have any trouble logging in, please contact the MSMC Help Desk at 213-477-2970 or submit a request online.

MSMC Email- MSMC uses email as the official form of communication with our students. Important information is sent to your MSMC email account and it's your responsibility to check it often. You should have received a letter with your email address and password information. If not please contact the MSMC Help Desk at 213-477-2970 or submit a request online.

ID Cards- All faculty, staff, and students are required to carry a college ID at all times. New students are issued an ID card during Orientation. New ID Cards for Spring and Summer semester, as well as replacement cards, may be obtained in the Food Services Office. (Building #11)

Academic Advisement- Immediately after matriculation at Mount Saint Mary’s College, the program or department head assigns a faculty academic adviser for each graduate student. Please contact your specific Graduate Department for more information.

Graduate Transitions Center- The Graduate Transitions Center is located on the 2nd Floor of Building 10. The GTC will serve as a centralized physical space for all graduate students to gather, study, engage in group work and enhance their academic skills. By providing opportunities for interdisciplinary discussions among students, the GTC helps build a community of thoughtful scholars and practitioners. Writing assistance, statistics assistance, and career advising services are offered. Learning Resource Center- The LRC Office (Building #3) offers academic support services for MSMC students such as professional and peer tutoring, study groups, and individualized study support. The staff is dedicated to meeting the needs of each individual student. The Graduate Writing & Thesis Coordinator assists students with graduate level writing in all disciplines.

Student Computer Labs- The Student Computer Lab on the Doheny Campus is located in Building #3. The labs have PC’s, Macs, and printers available for student programming, e-mail access, word processing, and internet access. All computers are available on walk-in, space available basis.

Bookstore- The Doheny Campus bookstore is located on the first floor of Fritz Burns Allied Health Center (Building #5). The MSMC Bookstore carries academic textbooks, reference materials, and electronic and school supplies. In addition, clothing, gifts and convenience items are available. Cash, personal checks, American Express, Mastercard, Visa and Discover cards are accepted.
