International students are encouraged to submit their application and all supporting materials at least 4 months prior to the beginning of the term they are applying for.
Mount St. Mary’s College admits students from around the world based on their academic history and performance on standardized tests. We welcome both first-year and transfer students to our undergraduate academic community here in Los Angeles.
Our admissions process goes beyond mere numbers when we choose new members of our student population. Your academic background is important, but so too are your personal interests and your desire to succeed and serve as a compassionate leader in the world of today and tomorrow. All these factors will be weighed in any admission decision.
Who is an international student? Mount St. Mary’s College determines a student’s status as “international” solely on their United States citizenship/residency status. If you do not hold citizenship or permanent residency in the US (e.g. a “green card”), you are considered an international student by MSMC.
Please review the following minimum requirements for attending Mount St. Mary’s College. This includes information for undergraduate and transfer students, as well as graduate degree program candidates.
