In Mount St. Mary’s innovative ADN to MSN Program, students who are practicing nurses and hold an ADN degree can achieve their BSN and MSN in as little as 3 years (depending on which MSN concentration a student pursues). The program builds on the professional knowledge that ADN-holding nurses have obtained on the job and supplements this with research, theory, and clinical components.
Designed for working professionals, the coursework is offered on evenings and weekends and includes modified bachelor's degree courses with special attention given to professional development issues. Graduates are eligible to apply for certification as a Public Health Nurse. Upon successful completion of the undergraduate Bridge, students matriculate directly into the MSN Program and can select from the following tracks: Educator, Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist, or Leadership/Administration.
