Our Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) program is designed for adults wishing to complete their preparation as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in an evening and weekend format. Clinicals are completed on weekends (Fri/Sat/ or Sat/Sun) in a variety of Greater Los Angeles area facilities. Students must provide their own reliable transportation to and from clinical facilities.
To be considered for admission you must have a minimum 2.75 overall GPA, and a minimum 2.5 GPA on your Science courses and must complete the application process by the application deadline. All of the required documents are to be in the Office of Admission or post-marked by the due date of the desired academic term.
Tuition is approximately $783.00 per unit

Candidates for this option will take general studies classes within the program in order to finish the general studies requirements before moving into our nursing portion of the program. |

Listed below are the General Studies courses that need to be completed in order for a student to participate in the nursing portion of the program. If you complete and transfer all these courses prior to attending the Mount , you may be considered for direct entry into the nursing portion of our program (the Nursing option) If you have not completed these courses in advance, you may take these classes here at Mount St. Mary's College (as part of the Pre-Nursing Option).

Effective Fall 2009, a student may repeat a course required for the nursing major no more than once. Failure (C- and below) of any two required science or pre-requisite courses results in non-admission.
Due to the high volume of applicants, the Office of Admission is unable to provide prospective nursing candidates with course equivalencies for classes taken at 4 year colleges and universities.
