Description: Members of The Uptown Gay and Lesbian Alliance, founded in 1983 after the murder of a gay man in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, will share their history and memories as they present the UGLA collection to ONE Archives. For over thirty years UGLA has been building community and supporting a network gay and lesbian individuals living in the northeast area of Los Angeles
