Food for Thought - Education in China and the US
Dr. Nancy Pine enlightened MSMC faculty and staff about the differences between education in China and the US at the Food 4 Thought Chinese banquet on June 12, 2012. Her book: Educating Young Giants: What Children Learn (and Don't Learn) in the U.S. and China was recently published.
Take a little time out of your crazy workday to eat with your colleagues while increasing your cultural fluency and effectiveness with diverse students.
