Hea Lan Yoon is a Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Medical-Surgical/Oncology/Pallative inpatient ward at the Veterans Administration Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, West LA. She is certified as an Advanced Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist (AOCNS). In this role, Professor Yoon teaches at the bedside and in the classroom, mentors a shared-governance group utilizing evidence based practice, and role models expert nursing activities at the various levels within the nursing profession. She is one of the trainers for the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider classes and actively participates in promoting community nursing education by working as a clinical liaison for both the undergraduate and graduate (MECN) programs at UCLA, School of Nursing.
