Director, Early Childhood Education Program

Biography

Dr. Disterhoft began her career teaching early elementary and preschool in New York City and Northern California. Upon completion of her masters degree with an emphasis on administration of early childhood programs, she directed child care programs in the Los Angeles area, most recently at CSU Northridge. During her doctoral program, she concentrated on life-span development and teacher education, working as a faculty associate in the CGU Teacher Education program. Her academic work continues to center on early education and child care programs.
