Victoria Ortiz is an advisor at Mount St. Mary’s College, MSN program Educator track.  Ms. Ortiz is a full-time nurse educator for Kaiser Permanente. She coordinates and instructs various prenatal and diabetes programs in both English and Spanish.

Ms. Ortiz is currently collaborating on a project with the Human Nutrition and Food Services Department at Cal Poly Pomona.  Her masters living project, entitled "Being Healthy a Family Affair" is being integrated into the practicum experience of the students in this department.  Ms. Ortiz serves as a consultant in facilitating the implementation of this curriculum into the afterschool setting for children and parents which will be taught by the Cal Poly Pomona students.

 Ms. Ortiz is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Omicron Delta Chapter and the American Association of Diabetic Educators.
