The Asia Society distributes books and videos about Asian history and culture. This is an excellent source for primary documents on Asia. The materials are appropriate for a high school audience; however, the Society has produced two video series for elementary and middle school students that cover contemporary life as seen through the eyes of Japanese school children. A third series introduces comtemporary Korean society.
