COSA

COSA is a committee of elected staff representatives committed to supporting and developing staff relations and addressing staff concerns.

Purpose 

• Interpret and effectively represent and express staff opinions on matters of interest to the College community
• Coordinate and support educational, social and cultural enrichment programs for the benefit of the staff
• Support staff development activities sponsored by human resources
• Support and promote the college mission

Elected Representatives

COSA is made up of twelve (12) elected staff representatives.  Elected members serve a two year term.  Members represent all employees of the College.

All members of COSA must be full-time College employees.   The Director of Human Resources and a member of the President's Cabinet serve as Ex-Officio members of COSA.

MSMC employees can participate by: 

• Attending forums to express their views
• Talking to COSA members
• Networking at COSA social functions
