Eligibility
The College offers a variety of insurance plans. Staff must be Regular employees working at least 32 hours per week/80% FTE, and faculty must be full-time or 80% (or above) FTE contract, to be eligible for the College’s insurance plans. Coverage begins the first (1st) day of the month following 30 days of employment.

Flexible Spending allows employees to pay for certain expenses (medical care and dependent care) for self and eligible spouse/dependents with pre-tax dollars, thereby reducing taxable income. It also includes a Transportation Account, designed for employees to be reimbursed for certain transportation costs with pre-tax dollars. Each year, “Open Enrollment” (July 1st effective date) occurs with possible changes in coverage and/or premiums.
