Eligibility 

The College offers a variety of insurance plans. Staff must be Regular employees working at least 32 hours per week/80% FTE, and faculty must be full-time or 80% (or above) FTE contract, to be eligible for the College’s insurance plans.  Coverage begins the first (1st) day of the month following 30 days of employment.

  • Medical Insurance

Both plans include generic & name brand prescriptions.

Vision Insurance is included in the Medical.

  • Dental Insurance

  • Life Insurance                                                                                                                          All eligible employees will receive a life benefit of one times their base annual earnings, with a minimum benefit of $50,000, up to a maximum of $200,000. Administered through Sun Life Assurance Company - www.sunlife-usa.com (1-800-247-6875).
  • Voluntary Life 
    Supplemental Life Insurance purchased by employees for themselves and/or eligible spouse/dependents. Administered through Sun Life Assurance Company -  www.sunlife.com
  • Long Term Disability & AD&D 
    Administered through Sun Life Assurance Company.
  • Pre-paid Legal Plan

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 
    Professional counseling services.  Administered by Holman Group - www.holmangroup.com (1-800-321-2843).
  • Flexible Spending 
    Flexible Spending allows employees to pay for certain expenses (medical care and dependent care) for self and eligible spouse/dependents with pre-tax dollars, thereby reducing taxable income.  It also includes a Transportation Account, designed for employees to be reimbursed for certain transportation costs with pre-tax dollars.  Administered through Igoe Administrative Services. - www.goigoe.com (1-800-633-8818).

Each year, “Open Enrollment” (July 1st effective date) occurs with possible changes in coverage and/or premiums.
