Two representatives of the Mount St. Mary's College Education Department – Dr. Nancy Pine, founder of the Bridging Cultures: U.S./China Program, and Dr. Julie Feldman-Abe, who will become the new director of the program in June – are in China to discuss future programs. They have just met with the English Department chair and faculty representatives of Nanjing University as well as the dean of the School of Foreign Studies (pictured) to discuss the continuation of various exchanges (such as the email exchange program between Nanjing and MSMC students) and to brainstorm future possibilities.
