Student Spotlights

The Mount is filled with great programs and opportunities for all students who want to succeed in life. Being from Orange County I had local Universities I where I could have gone to school. But seeing the curriculum that the Mount had to offer for the liberal studies students, I decided to enroll at the Mount. It has given me a new view of what it means to be a teacher. I now realize how important it is to know the cultural background of my students, honor the diversity in the classroom, and I now see how important it is to work collaboratively with colleagues. So, my understanding of this educational program has expanded from what I thought it was. I feel that this program is preparing me to become a successful teacher. There have been many great life experiences, too.
