   “Leaders Whom You Know Personally That Have Affected Your Life”

 

Los Angeles, (June 25, 2012) – MAPs (MBA Alumni Professionals) is pleased to announce its second Personal Development Scholarship Award competition for the current MSMC MBA students. The scholarship is available to the May 2013 and December 2013 cohorts. To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must have a minimum 3.4 GPA and submit an essay discussing “Leaders Whom You Know Personally That Have Affected Your Life.” 

 

Essays must be maximum 2 pages, double spaced, 12 pt font, and 1” margins, and must be submitted to alumns@msmc.la.edu in PDF format. 

 

The deadline for applications is Monday, October 1, 2012.

 

Donations from the alums, foundations, and fundraising activities fund the MAPs Scholarship Award program. Since its inception in 2009, MAPs developed several objectives to recognize individuals who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and promote personal and professional development.  One objective is generating financial support for the MBA program and its students. This year MAPs will award up to two scholarships of $2,500 each to support students’ personal development objectives.

 

The winners will be announced on the January 2013 issue of the MAPs newsletter.
