Mount St. Marys College offers courses of study leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree and the Bachelor of Science degree. These are offered at the Chalon Campus. The goal of these degree programs is to provide students not only with the necessary knowledge but also their ability to communicate it appropriately. Students are also encouraged to apply the resulting principles and techniques to their future fields of employment and to their personal lives. During their freshmen and sophomore years, students are primarily completing the General Studies requirements and pre-requisites for their major. During their junior and senior years, students pursue deeper study in their major areas of concentration and take related elective courses. Relevant internships are also available as are service-learning courses, which allow the students to personify the Colleges Mission Statement of becoming graduates who are committed to using their knowledge and skills to better themselves, their environments, and the world.
