Health Services Confidentiality PolicyA student's medical record at Health Services is confidential, and information from it is only released with the student's request and written permission, or by judicial subpoena. Records are kept for eight years after graduation and are then destroyed. Information cannot and will not be released to parents without prior consent from the student, unless the student is less than 18 years of age. We consider each student to be an "emerging adult", capable of making independent educated decisions. |
