First-Year & Non-Nursing Transfer Students
We hope you find what you need on these pages. We've posted most of what you need here to ensure your transition to the Mount.  We will add more information as it becomes available and at the appropriate time.

WEBADVISOR

WebAdvisor is The Mount's online tool that you will be using througout your time here.  You will use it to confirm enrollment, check financial aid, search for classes, register for classes and more.

You should have already received a letter with your username and password.  You will need these to access this tool. CLICK HERE TO GET YOUR LOG-IN INFO!

MSMC EMAIL

MSMC uses email as the official form of communication with our students.  Important information is sent to your MSMC email account and it's your responsibility to check it often.  You should have received a letter with your email address and password information.  If you did not receive it, please contact the MSMC HelpDesk and provide your MSMC Student ID, as it is secured. Just call (213) 477-2970 or (866) 224-6968.  Your student ID # should be in the bottom left corner of your MSMC Admission Letter.

TESTING, ADVISING & REGISTRATION

All entering students are required to complete a series of placement exams prior to matriculating at Mount St. Mary's College.  Placement exams assist you and your faculty advisor with course selections.  Students take exams to help determine appropriate courses in English, Math, Chemistry and Foreign languages.

Advisement and Registration

During Orientation (see below), students will meet with a faculty advisor to discuss their educational plans at the Mount, and register for Fall classes.
