Preparing Students for Participation and Leadership In Our Local and Global Community
  Women's Leadership supports students in developing leadership skills through co-curricular activities, workshops, internships, and participation in national conferences. Women's Leadership defines leadership as the relational process of people working together to accomplish change and make a difference for the common good. Mission StatementAs the only Catholic women’s college west of the Mississippi River, for the past seventy-five years the mission of Mount St. Mary’s College has supported students becoming women of influence, prepared to view professional life as a service to the broader society. For over twenty-five years, participants in the Women’s Leadership Program at Mount St. Mary’s College have developed the leadership skills necessary to meet their future goals. The Women’s Leadership Program defines leadership as the process of initiating, guiding, and working with a group to accomplish change that will benefit the common good. The Women’s Leadership Program helps students develop leadership skills through co-curricular activities at Mount St. Mary’s College, as well as workshops, internships, and conferences nationwide. Students may also enroll in a Leadership and Women’s Studies Minor as part of their course of study.
