I feel that the Mount has played a monumental role in shaping me. It has helped me find my identity by allowing me to be myself and accepting me for who I am. It has taught me confidence and perseverance that I do not feel I could have learned anywhere else at the level that I did. The Mount does not foster quitters; it fosters fighters. It has shaped me in becoming altruistic and passionate about truly helping others. I now have an understanding of community and its indispensable importance in our lives. The Mount has truly given me a foundation for my future.

From the beginning of my undergraduate career, Mount St. Mary's offered me more opportunities for involvement than I ever could have imagined. The involvement and experiences I have had at the Mount have put me in the position to not only get in to graduate school, but also to feel that I am prepared to begin graduate work. In no other setting could I have excelled the way that I did here at the Mount, and in no small way this school has shaped the person I have become.

The Mount is a rare place in which every student is treated and looked at as an individual. All of my experiences at The Mount have helped to shape who I am today. I feel that my professors at The Mount have not only pushed me to be the best I can be, but have nurtured me so I have never felt overwhelmed or incapable of being my best possible self. In my opinion, MSMC is the perfect environment for any young woman who is interested in becoming a confident and successful female who will be ready to use the world as her playing field once she graduates. I feel that the education I have obtained at The Mount has helped me to become a strong candidate for any graduate or medical school program and I am very confident to graduate this spring and apply for Medical School this summer.

Plans After Graduation: I plan to continue working in the music industry, possibly in the marketing, management, and event planning departments. My future plans are not set in stone, and that is what I love about it. The Mount has shaped me to become a very versatile individual, allowing me to pursue different aspects of the business and gain further experience in an industry that is constantly changing.
I came to Mount St. Marys College as a shy little freshman, uncertain of what I wanted to do in life (let alone school for that matter). Little did I know the opportunities were endless! The four years that I have spent at MSMC have shaped me into the individual that I am today. The experiences that I have had, the friendships that I have formed, and the struggles that I have overcome have given me the insight, patience, drive, and confidence to face the world head on. I am no longer that shy little girl who came to the Mount with a question mark hovering over her head. Mount St. Marys College has provided me with the guidance, assurance, and foundation that I know I would not have been able to attain elsewhere. My experiences at the Mount have fostered my education, my faith, and my development as a strong and confident individual.
