About OIT

Our Mission
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is responsible for guiding, assessing, planning, developing, and executing state-of-the-art information technologies in support of all academic disciplines and administrative functions. The OIT mission is to support the Mount St. Mary's College (MSMC) faculty and staff in the use of current technologies that will enhance and strengthen the teaching/learning process.

IT Governance
OIT works closely with established governance committees at the College (such as Policies and Procedures, and the Academic Technology Committee) to develop IT policy that will best meet the practice and needs of of the MSMC community. OIT Organization
OIT combines the talent and professional resources of MSMC and SunGard Higher Education. The OIT office is located in DH-108 at the Chalon Campus and in House 1 Office 4 at the Doheny Campus.
