Did you know that Residence Life puts on over 120 programs a year? Find out more here! Resident Assistants organize and host a variety of programs throughout the academic year so that the residence halls are a lively, educational, and fun-living learning community. Take a look at some of our past programs for Fall 2008. WEEKDAY RESIDENCE LIFE PROGRAM PLANNING MODEL:NOTE: These programs are for Residents ONLY. 
Leading and Educating through Authentic Programming (The LEAP Model) For our programming efforts in residence life at Mount St. Mary’s College we developed a model based upon the common transitions and needs our resident student population goes through while living in our residential communities. The Resident Assistants in the halls focus on six specific areas for programs during the academic year to assist the students in their “out of the classroom” development, learn more concrete skills, adjust to living in a community, build relationships and be respectful, civil contributors to their neighbor, the greater society and the world. |

FLOOR MEETINGS:
The floor meetings for each semester are mandatory for all residents. Residents who do not attend the mandatory meetings will be charged a fee.

During your floor meetings, you will have the opportunity to give your input on what kinds of programs you'd like to see in the residence halls. Feel free to throw out any creative ideas you have. We want to make sure you're having a great time living in the residence halls.
