St. Joseph's Day Bread Blessing 2006Each year, Campus Ministry celebrates the Sisters of St. Joseph with a blessing of bread. The Mount community comes together on each campus -- people are encouraged to donate a loaf or two of bread and we all offer a blessing in thanksgiving for the work and presence of the CSJs. We share juice, bread and good conversation. Then, at the weekly Thursday Mass at Doheny, we bring up all of the donated bread as part of our gifts procession. Finally, we donate the bread on Friday to a local charity. Celebrating with the Sisters of St. Joseph!
