September
- Contact your high school counselor or the Office of Admission at (800) 999-9893 to inquiry when a representative will be in your area for a high school visit or a college fair.
- Check the registration deadlines for the SAT and/or ACT exams.
- Plan and reserve a day to visit to the campus.
October
- Request an application packet by calling (800) 999-9893 or fill out an application online.
- Attend financial aid nights and college fairs offered by your school or organizations in your community.
- Apply for outside funding and scholarships.

November
- Complete your application and essay.
- Ask your counselor(s) to send a recommendation form to the Office of Admission.
- Confirm that your SAT and/or ACT scores have been sent to Mount St. Mary's College. Our school code for SAT/ACT is 004493.
- Obtain a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from your guidance counselor or complete one online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- Verify that your application packet is complete (application fee, essay, letter of recommendation, official transcripts and official SAT and/or ACT scores.)
- Attend Afternoon at the Mount (Open House): Chalon - November 4th and Doheny - November 11th
December
- Continue applying for outside funding and scholarships.
- Complete the FAFSA form.
- Request that your fall semester of Senior year transcripts be sent to Mount St. Mary's College. Verify that they are official transcripts in a sealed envelope and sent from your school.
- Submit your application by Dec. 1st. deadline if you are seeking a merit based scholarship. Mail it to:

January
- Submit your completed FAFSA as soon after Jan. 1 as possible. Keep a copy of the completed form for your files.
- Visit the campus for an interview if desired.
February
- Verify that your FAFSA has been mailed.
- Ask your guidance counselor about Advanced Placement (AP) examination dates and registration.
- Submit your application by the Feb 15th deadline if seeking need based financial aid. Mail to:

March
- Plan an overnight visit to campus, if you haven't already done so.
- Participate in on-campus Financial Aid packaging program
- Expect your FAFSA results to arrive as the Student Aid Report (SAR). Make any corrections immediately to avoid a delay in processing your financial aid.
April
- Expect a financial aid award letter to arrive.
- Contact the Financial Aid Office or your Admissions Counselor with any questions about your financial aid offer.
- Sign the Conditions of Financial Aid Award and Acceptance Form and send it to the Financial Aid Office.
- Send your $100.00 tuition deposit and $100.00 housing deposit.
- Attend Admitted Students' Day

May
- Fill out and return health forms from your New Student Orientation Packet.
- Return loan applications and other financial aid documents sent to you by the Financial Aid Office.
- Verify that your high school will send your final transcripts (including graduation date) to the Admissions Office.
June
- Congratulations on your graduation! Celebrate!
- Secure a Summer Job to help with your college expenses.

- Attend your mandatory Orientation Program.
