Duties of the Vice-President for Campus Activities

The Duties and Responsibilities of the Vice President, Campus Activities shall be:

  1. Executive Board member.
  2. To serve as the Chair of the ASB Special Campus Events Committee responsible for the planning and coordination of the two end of semester social events (Gala and Inspiration Dinner).
  3. To serve as Chair of the Communication Committee comprised of the Student Affairs Senator, Commuter Senator, and Publicist/Historian.
  4. To preside at meetings of the Senate and the Executive Board in absence of the DASB President, DASB Executive Vice-President, and Vice-President of Service.
  5. To publish a calendar of coming events for distribution to the general population of the school.
  6. Executive Board member of the DASB Student Affairs Committee.
  7. Student Advisor to all student club and organization programming as necessary and determined in the DASB Student Affairs Committee meetings).
  8. Assumes the responsibilities of the President in the event of the absence/resignation the President, Executive Vice President, Vive President for Finance, and Vice President for Communication.
  9. Must assist in the transition of the newly elected Vice President, Campus Activities following the Athenian Awards Reception and before the last week of the Spring semester.  In the event that the position is left vacant in the Spring, resource materials must be submitted to the newly elected Executive Board.
  10. Be present in the DASB office for at least three (3) hours per week.
  11. To serve the interest of the Student Body of Mount St. Mary's College above all else.
