Leadership Scholar Program
The Women's Leadership & Orientation Programs offers Freshmen and Sophomore students the opportunity to become a part of a unique leadership development experience. The Leadership Scholar Program recognizes the leadership potential of individuals who have made exemplary contributions to their high schools, prior colleges, and personal lives through involvement, service, and leadership activities. Participants will receive individual leadership development, specialized activities, and priority for conference registration. The Leadership Scholars Program is a cohort based program where students will engage in various leadership activities throughout all four years and benefit from close peer relationships.
Leadership Scholars benefits include:
- Certificate in Leadership
- Individualized Leadership training through regular meetings with Program staff
- Participation in the annual Leadership Boot Camp
- Priority for Leadership conferences
- Mentoring opportunities
- Selection as an Orientation Leader
- Inclusion in Spring Leadership Conference
- Annual Welcome dinners
- First-year Leadership Retreat
The Women's Leadership Program is pleased to offer the opportunity for Freshmen and Sophomore students to join the Leadership Scholars Program. Due to the intensive nature of the program each cohort will consist of no more than 30 students. Students will be considered and accepted based on the order in which their completed application is received.
