Volunteer Attorney: The Mississippi Bar Young Lawyers Division: Worked with FEMA disaster recovery centers in Mississippi and provided free civil legal services to low income disaster victims. Areas of law covered: Landlord/tenant disputes, public utilities and insurance claims.

Office of the District Attorney: Researched and reviewed elder abuse cases. Engaged in trial preparation including discovery, drafting of motions, and filing court documents for multi-million dollar elder abuse scam.

American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), Washington, D.C. Researched state legistlative issues on grandparent caregiving and visitation rights.
