Zócalo presents a vibrant series of programs that feature thinkers and doers speaking on some of the most pressing topics of the day. Bringing together an extraordinarily diverse group of Angelenos, Zócalo--"Public Square" in Spanish--seeks to create a non partisan and multiethnic forum where participants can enjoy a rare opportunity for intellectual fellowship.

The Los Angeles Public Library

The Los Angeles Public Library provides free and easy access to information, ideas, books and technology that enrich, educate and empower every individual in our city's diverse communities.

Mount Career Network

The Career Center provides its students a multitude of ways to find full-time, part-time, babysitting, volunteer and internships positions all of which are now ONLINE. ALL Mount students will have access to the colleges new online system: The Mount's Career Network. To gain access to the system ALL students will need to complete an initial registration process.

To register for the first time, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Go to www.mountcareernetwork.com
  2. On the right hand side you will see a login box. Your login information is as follows:
  • Login Name: MSMC Email Prefix (jsmith@msmc.la.edu- MSMC Email Prefix is "jsmith")
  • Password: Student Identification Number
  1. Once you log-in for the first time, you will be required to enter some personal data about yourself
  2. You are now ready to search for jobs and internships, register for events, attend job/career fairs, etc.
