Mount St. Mary's College - Sociology and Gerontology Association

Every major within our department automatically becomes a lifetime member of this distinguished organization. Our mission is to contribute to professional development, both while as a student at Mount St. Mary's College and after entering the workforce. Students and alums meet once per year to share experiences in their various professions and to network. Workshops are regularly planned in such areas as enhancing resumes, assessing career directions, considering graduate school, and other topics of interest to members.

Alums act as extremely important mentors and advisors to students.  They also enjoy reconnecting with those they knew while attending the Mount, including a professor or two!
