There are two techniques for re-using content created in the Learning Object Repository.
- Publish - push content into a course or group to which you have editor rights
- Import from Learning Object Repository - copy or link items from the LOR into your course or group For each of these two techniques, you have the option to copy or link the LOR content to the course/group.
- Copy – duplicates the content from a LOR
- Link - Using this option creates a linked item within the course/group which references the source item in the repository. This is ideal for providing access to large media files such as audio and video lectures.
When linking to a quiz, survey, or drop box, student submission results are stored in the course repository and are not accessible from the course which contains the link. (For these items, use the Copy feature)
