Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental, Pre-Pharmacy Emphases
Students in the Department of Biological Sciences may elect to take their major in the Pre-medical, Pre-dental, Pre-pharmacy, or Pre-veterinary Programs.
These programs offer a strong science preparation balanced with a well rounded Liberal Arts program required for successful entrance into Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine.
Such program emphases prepare students for study in a wide variety of graduate school programs, assistantships in biomedical research laboratories, molecular biology, industry or other health-related professions. It is recommended that the student select a minor in one of the humanities.
