President's Invitation to Serve

for Students, Faculty, Staff, Alums, and Friends of the College

 Over 240 people participated in the President's Invitation to Serve.
Thank you to our Students, Faculty, Staff, Alums, and Friends of the College who volunteered.

The day began at 7:45am with registration and a light breakfast in front of Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, Doheny. The early group volunteering at the Midnight Mission met at 5:15 a.m.!

Kids Against Hunger
Packaged packaged food on the Doheny campus for “families around the world … and around the corner!”
KYCC – Korean Youth Community Center
Planted much needed trees in the Los Angeles Area.
Alexandria House 
Gardening, cleaning, and painting at a transitional home for women and children.
Frank D. Lanterman High School
Gardening and graffiti removal
Heal the Bay 
Cleaned up the Mount’s adopted section of the Santa Monica Pier/Beach.
Los Angeles Mission 
Fed our downtown neighbors and prepared for their Easter event. 
Los Angeles Regional Foodbank 
Sorted and packed food for distribution across Los Angeles.
Midnight Mission 
Prepared meals and food for distribution to homeless individuals and families. 
St. Joseph Center
Worked in the thrift store.
