WELCOME MESSAGES FROM OUR MSMC DEANS

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Mount St. Mary's College!

“As you observe your daughter or son beginning this new educational journey, I want to assure you that you will also be considered a part of it with your much-needed support.

I can also assure you that the Mount's administration, faculty and staff want our students and their parents to feel like members of the "Mount Family".  Both academic and personal growth and success are the goals we have for our students.  As our Mission Statement reads, "...Our measure of success is graduates who are committed to using their knowledge and skills to better themselves, their environments, and the world."

With your and our support, we are confident that our students will achieve this goal.

Thank you for entrusting your daughter or son to Mount St. Mary's College."

Sincerely,

Sister Joseph Adele Edwards, CSJ
Baccalaureate Dean

Dear Parents,

"Welcome to the Doheny Campus of Mount St. Mary’s College.  I am sure that you are proud of your student as he/she begins this new educational endeavor!

In the associate degree program, we want our students to become aware of their talents and skills that will make it possible for them to make positive changes in the community and the world. While this happens through academic coursework, there is also much to be learned through student activities and campus life. Students who are involved are more likely to complete their academic goals and to have the skills to compete in the work place.

Thank you for entrusting you daughter or son to Mount St. Mary’s College. We appreciate all that you do to support the success of your student."

Sincerely,

Patricia Disterhoft, Ph.D.

Dean of Associate Programs
