COSA is a committee of elected staff representatives committed to supporting and developing staff relations and addressing staff concerns.

Purpose

• Interpret and effectively represent and express staff opinions on matters of interest to the College community
• Coordinate and support educational, social and cultural enrichment programs for the benefit of the staff
• Support staff development activities sponsored by human resources
• Support and promote the college mission

Elected Representatives

COSA is made up of twelve (12) elected staff representatives.  Elected members serve a two year term.  Members represent all employees of the College.

At least one member must represent each of these areas, and two members must work primarily at Doheny.  All members of COSA must be full-time College employees.   The Director of Human Resources and a member of the President's Cabinet serve as Ex-Officio members of COSA.
