Welcome to Psychology!

Psychology students receive Mary's Day awards and present their research at Psychology Day and national conferences.

Have you ever wondered...

  • Why you can vividly remember your tenth birthday party but not what you wore last Tuesday?
  • If it's better to suppress thoughts of a painful break-up or to talk about it?
  • If watching violent TV increases violent behavior?
  • Why some drugs, like nicotine and cocaine, are so addictive?
  • If it pays to make a positive first impression?
  • If shy, introverted people can become more outgoing as they get older?

These are the kinds of questions psychology can help you answer!
