Education

Embodying a progressive model of teaching and learning, program experiences are planned to encourage students to reflect on their teaching, to continually renew their vision of education, and to become leaders in their chosen specialty.

Fieldwork at exemplary schools offering a variety of innovative programs provides students with an ideal context to test their developing teaching and learning theories and practices.  The partnership of college faculty, school site personnel, and students, forms a relationship for meaningful, on-going professional growth.  

Schedules are flexible with year-round registration during fall, spring, and summer terms, evening and weekend classes, and options for completing programs that accommodate individual needs.  For those already working in education, fieldwork and student teaching components of the programs may be arranged in the student's own public or private school classroom.
