The Art program at Mount St. Mary's College provides students with abundant choices and individualized advising to develop special programs geared towards student goals. The art program is offered in a liberal arts context, preparing students in techniques and the fundamentals of art, graphic design and art history as well as the humanities, sciences and social sciences, giving our students the advantage of options for careers and personal development. Programs are offered at both campuses. The Doheny Campus is home to our Associate Degrees in both Graphic Design and Media Communication. At the Chalon Campus, students are majoring in Art, with an emphasis in Fine Art or Graphic Design. The Chalon Campus is also home to the Documentary Film and Social Justice program, where students study the art of film making through the context of Social Justice. |
