All are welcome to join us at our Welcome Mass during Orientation. This is a special time when the newest members of our Mount community are welcomed by current students, faculty, and staff.
During Orientation students will meet with a faculty advisor to select and register for Fall semester courses.
Throughout the Orientation program students participate in fun activities that will introduce them to each other, help them learn about the Mount, and prepare them to begin their college years! Past activities include a movie night, scavenger hunt, and coffee hour.
Upon check-in, students are assigned to a specific orientation group. Orientation groups are led by Orientation Leaders, current students who have been selected specifically to welcome you!
Your student ID picture will be taken after Check-In. This is your pass to the Fitness Center, Library, and Dining Room throughout the academic year. Pre-nursing students: This photo will be used for your hospital badge as well so please wear a dark top with a high neck and sleeves for the photo.
You will be staying in our residence halls along with one or two other students (shared bathrooms). Blankets, pillows, and towels will be provided.
All meals are complimentary. Additional items can be purchased from the Bookstore and Deli which will be open during normal business hours. Vending machines are also available for your convenience.
