Students having fun in the boxer jumper ring.

On November 18, 2010 Mount Saint Mary’s Student Programming and Commuter Services held its Fall Fair. In order to participate students simply had to sign in and received a neon wristband and a ticket. This was an opportunity for students to relieve some stress from studying and enjoy themselves. Students had the opportunity to box their stress and worries away in the boxer ring jumper. There were caramel apples that students could top with sweets of their choice. If they chose they could have cotton candy, popcorn, or more sweets all for free. The art club was in charge of the photo-shoot where students could go get their pictures taken which would be sent to their emails free of charge.

With finals coming up this was an excellent opportunity to relax whether they just stopped by for a few minutes or stayed around the whole time. Everyone present was in a jolly mood, the weather was not too hot nor cold just perfect to pass the time. This event brought out the feelings of warmth from the holidays coming up. All the students there were able to enjoy their time doing several of the activities including decorating their own pumpkins. And the student workers who participated in this event were just as happy seeing everyone have a great time.

As the end of the semester approaches quickly students need breaks to distract themselves. Thanks to this event they were able to do just that. Now students have a souvenir from this event whether it’s a painted pumpkin or their pictures or maybe a plushy as they go back to their studies working hard to ace their finals. Good luck to all and enjoy your thanksgiving holiday.

“It was fun, and I was not bored. Even if I got bored, there was another booth that made me have fun again.”
