The Arts in Europe
description of photo

The pope blesses all present.

New Years in front of Big Ben in London, actually seeing the real Mona Lisa in the Louvre in Paris, admiring the Statue of David in Florence, and visiting St. Paul’s Cathedral in Rome…Imagine experiencing and learning all this while receiving units!!!

An experience in Europe must very amazing. But a trip with an art class really gives students an opportunity to explore all the art that London, Paris, Florence and Rome have to offer, and not to mention, also meeting your ART/MUS general studies requirement.

To take part of this course, the students had to attend three seminars throughout the semester, which basically serve as a sneak peeks and preparation for the trip. This trip is just the thing for those majors that make very difficult to study abroad. Because the Europe trip was during Winter Break, it is the perfect time to enjoy a vacation without having to worry about any other required courses.

This trip is a 100% recommended experience to all the Mount students! This trip will not be offered next school year but it just gives students time to start saving up!!!!!

“My highlights from the Arts in Europe trip most definitely have to be actually seeing the Mona Lisa in person in the Louvre in Paris, walking through the streets of Florence but most of all seeing the Pope in Rome! I know that if I did not participate in this trip, I probably would have never visited Europe ever.”   -Nancy Saavedra
