All students present were encouraged to work hard for success and never give up.

On March 08, 2011 Career Services and Alumnae Relations presented at Mount St. Mary's College, Chalon Campus, the Alumnae Sharing Knowledge Panel, otherwise known as A.S.K.. There were 7 panelists present who came to share their knowledge and experiences with current students. All the panelists came to prove that it is possible to make it if you are willing to work hard.

The panelists all had different stories to tell about their lives during college and thereafter. There were all sorts of majors presents form psychology, political science, film and social justice, nursing, child development, to liberal studies; the former students present were a representation that it is possible to reach your goals by getting a degree from any field of interest.

All the alumni had one message for students, which is that once earning a bachelors degree they must continue their studies while gaining experience to build themselves up. Now a days with tough times the more experience and knowledge one has the better luck to find a job. Students were inspired to not give up on their paths to getting a degree but rather try hard and become involved in areas of interest while networking as often as possible.

“The panel was very fulfilling, beneficial, and interesting, I was able to really connect because I could relate to their experiences as well” -Olivia Mayo
