Women's Leadership

Developing Confident & Conscientious Leaders Dedicated to Making a Difference

Office of Women's Leadership

As the only Catholic women’s college west of the Mississippi River, the mission of Mount St. Mary’s College since 1925 has supported students becoming women of influence, prepared to view professional life as a service to the broader society. For over thirty-five years, participants in the various Women’s Leadership Programs at Mount St. Mary’s College have developed the leadership skills necessary to meet their future goals. Women's Leadership defines leadership as the process of initiating, guiding, and working with a group to accomplish change that will benefit the common good.

The mission of Mount St. Mary's College Women's Leadership is to engage students in the leadership process by providing leadership education, skill-building, and opportunities for action and reflection. We strive to develop confident and conscientious leaders dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others.
