Mission and Purpose

The mission and purpose of the Sakura Society is the exposure of the Mount St. Mary’s College community to the Japanese culture and language through the use of popular mediums such as Film, Anime (Japanese Animation), Manga (Comics), video games of Japanese origin, art, and music. Through this, we aim to broaden the overall awareness and appeal of the Mount St. Mary's College Community, and to recognize the reactive abilities of MSMC students.
