CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2011 ATHENIAN AWARD RECIPIENTS!

The Athenian Awards Reception serves to recognize student leaders, faculty, staff, and student organizations that have made a significant impact on the Mount Community.  The Women's Leadership Office would like to thank you for truly making a difference at the Mount!   

Inter-Club Council Awards

  • Most Collaborative Event
    • This event must involve more than one club, organization, or department in its planning and/or sponsoring.  Through collaboration, this event brought the community together in a way that enriched and educated the community as a whole.
  • Most Creative Publicity
    • This organization has created the most innovative way of advertising for their organization and their events.
  • Most Original Program
    • This award is given out to an unprecedented event at Mount St. Mary's College either based on subject matter or presentation.  Please note annual events will not be considered for this award.
  • Organization of the Year
    • Criteria for nomination:
      • How does the organization promote its purpose and mission?
      • How well did the organization promote the mission of the college and the Mount Community?
      • Did the organization participate in the events of other organizations/departments in which they were not co-sponsoring?

      • Desire to contribute to co-curricular life at the Mount
      • Freshman or Sophomore standing
      • NOT necessarily holding an office/position
      • Minimum GPA of 2.5
