Leadership Transcript FAQ

Q: What do I have to do to get a Leadership Transcript?

All Mount students have access to the Leadership Transcript online. All you need to do is go the Leadership Transcript website (http://www.msmc.la.edu/portfolio/) and enter your user name and password. The first time you log in, your user name is the beginning of your email address (i.e. jsmith if your email is jsmith@msmc.la.edu). Your password will be your student ID number. You can then change your username and password.

Q: Is there a cost associated with using the Leadership Transcript?

Absolutely not! The Leadership Transcript is a free service to all Mount students.

Q: How do I document and keep the information on my Leadership Transcript current?

Since the Leadership Transcript is entirely online, you can access and make changes to it at any time. It is your responsibility as a student to regularly complete and update your transcript.

Q: Who is in charge of managing the Leadership Transcript?

The staff of Women’s Leadership Program manages the transcript. If you have specific questions about the transcript, please contact us at (310) 954-4350 at Chalon and (213) 477-2664 at Doheny.

Q: What types of activities can I put on my Leadership Transcript?

You may list both on- and off-campus leadership experiences. However, you may be asked to provide verification of your participation in off-campus activities. In addition, you should not include any work that you have been paid for unless it is specifically leadership related. For example, you would not include working at Home Depot- that belongs on your resume.

Q: When and how can I order official copies of my Leadership Transcript?

Official copies of your transcript may be obtained by completing a Leadership Transcript Request form on-line. Your official transcript will have the signature of the Vice President of Student Affairs and the Director of Women’s Leadership.

NOTE: It is your job to look over your transcript to ensure it is error free before requesting that it be printed. If a staff member sees errors in your transcript, it will not be printed until it is corrected.

Q: Once I graduate can I still request official copies of my Leadership Transcript to supplement my graduate school application?

Yes. Alumnae may request official copies of their Leadership Transcript within one year of their graduation date from Mount St. Mary's College.
