Laura Gomez, Assistant Director, Campus Ministry, Chalon Campus|
Laura Gomez graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor's degree in music with an emphasis on voice performance. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Religious Studies/Pastoral Theology. After LMU she taught grade school music and religion for 9 years. She came to the Mount on October 26, 1998. She has been the Music Director for St. Cyprian Parish in Long Beach for the past 7 years. During her college career she was a member of the LMU Choruses and Manager of the Women's Chorus for one year. She directed and produced talent shows for Peace Studies to raise money for St. Joseph Center in Venice, California and was a Resident Advisor for one year. She volunteered in Campus Ministry for three years, and was the student music director for the 8:00PM liturgy for two years. |
