Visit our homeless brothers and sisters

For many years, the Mount Community has been actively involved in visiting the homeless in Santa Monica. Every Sunday afternoon when the college is in session, from 5:45 until 6:30pm, the students gather next to the Chalon Campus Ministry office to prepare meal bags. Please meet in front of Mary Chapel at 8:15pm (after Mass) if interested in distributing meal bags to the homeless.

We would greatly appreciate donations of any items, such as: boxed fruit drinks, American cheese slices, loaves of bread, snacks, and plastic sandwich bags. A little bit goes a long way. Whatever amount you can donate, we thank you for your concern and generosity.

Please contact the Campus Ministry office by calling (310) 954-4125 to arrange pick-up, or come visit us! We are located on first floor of the Humanities building.

This is a great way to experience community service together with your clubs, organizations, and close friends. In addition, most students are able to use these hours for class requirements.
