Transferring from Doheny, Maria has much to offer to the Mount community. Majoring in Liberal Studies with an Emphasis in Elementary Education and minor in Religious studies, she plans on pursuing her childhood dream of becoming an elementary school teacher.
“I want to focus in a school that needs help with low-income families that are struggling to have their children gain an education.” Maria Morales
Determined and motivated to obtain her bachelor degree in liberal studies, Maria have also committed herself to various student activities. She is a peer advisor for the ISAE program and is currently the Resident Assistant of the Chalon campus. Throughout her time at both Doheny and Chalon Maria has grown into a wonderful and beautiful human being. With the experiences and knowledge that she has gained from her time at the Mount as an RA, an ISAE advisor and a student, she has developed into a well accomplished, strong individual.

After graduation in 2010, she plans to come back to Mount St Mary’s college to receive her credentials and pursue a master degree in psychology.
