Sarah Tuttle

Sarah Tuttle is a third year Music major, emphasis in vocal performance and education major. At the age of five years old, Sarah’s love and passion for music grew. As a young girl she was in an adult choir. She is currently in five choirs in and out of the Mount Community. Her dedication and passion reveals itself through her constant willingness to help the community, not only through music but with the Office of Campus Ministry.

“As a freshman I was really homesick. Campus Ministry has given me that hands on experience and has made me who I am today.”

Daily, Sarah volunteers her time and enthusiasm to both Doheny and Chalon Campus Ministry. On several occasions she has conducted music during Sunday Mass. After college, she hopes to teach and/or direct music in elementary schools. “I know teaching music is really something I want to do,” says Sarah. Not only does she plan to obtain her credentials in teaching in the next several years, she also plans to broaden her knowledge by studying abroad during the summer of 2010 in Ireland.

Sarah is currently singing in:

  • St. Monica’s Church Choir
  • Mount Chorus/Mount Singers
  • LMU Church Choir
  • Home Church Choir
  • Church chorus at Chalon and Doheny

Lastly, “Love church, love music, its life.” – Sarah Tuttle
